DRAGONFORCE Inhuman Rampage World Tour '07
Live in Singapore, 20th May.
(Ignorant fags who don't know anything about the band, Dragonforce is LEGENDARY in the progressive/power/speed metal scene!)
Alright let's get started now that that've been established. I went with an old friend, and had a good laugh at his get-up when we met. He gave an incredulous look that said, "Wtf? Why's everyone in black/looking so hardcore?" Well welcome to the world of metal fans david haha.
We arrived at 6, but there was already a snaking queue. Thank God for connections; we cut, all the way to the effing front!
Showtime.
The band erupted with Revolution Deathsquad and drove the crowd berserk. I was exhilarated too because they played alot of my favourites! Setlist:

Well obviously Sam had his beer stand. I've no clue how he can get boozed and shred the way he does at the same time though. Herman Li's guitar solos were fabulous, but the one who surprised me most was Dragonforce's new bassist, Federic Leclercq. I really think he could give John Myung a run for his money.
Vadim did an awesome keyboard solo during a short interval and basically went crazy with the keytar for the rest of the show. Dave was relatively good, but my view of him was obscured. ZP's wide-ranging vocals was powerful and controlled, although sometimes it got muffled by the other instruments.
ZP: "Watch out for the fucking barrier man. Whaatt. Yeah dude, I agree I've been told."There were a lot of headbanging and bouts of moshing; we ended up breaking the barrier a couple times, and the guards were being assholes by pushing it/us much further away from the stage. Grr. The crowd definitely wasn't too happy about that and retaliated by showing a certain finger.
ZP got mobbed when he came down for closer interaction lol. At one point during the performance he joked,

Crowd: "FUCK NO! BOOO!!!"
Lmao. Classic moment there.
Anyway, guess what? I caught Federic's pickS! Pretty cool huh. We stayed behind with faith after the concert ended. True enough, Sam came out; beer in hand. After much (polite) shoving, I managed to get his autograph and a shot of the both of us together. Hell yeah!
Feeling very euphoric, but not quite satisfied, I pulled David backstage and waited for the band's exit. They emerged an hour later, looking all cleaned up except Sam. and yes, I GOT TO MEET THEM!!!! Some super EXCLUSIVE photos with the rockstars: (DF fans eat your hearts out!)
Sam tried talking to me but I had trouble understanding cause his speech was soo slurred. (Yes he was completely tanked/wiped out/wasted by this time but was still carrying two full boxes of corona lol siao lah that guy.)
And I was being naughty by taking advantage of his drunkeness. "Saam flash me your most IDIOTIC GRIN ever!"
HAHAHAHAHAHA. Your boyfriend ah.
I had a much more pleasant chat with Vadim, who's the most adorable creature I swear heh. I gave him a hug before they left for the hotel and he went, "Aww Crystal you're so swweeet". That, for your info, melted my heart into butter. :)
